Bankrupt's possessions go under the hammer

by isleofman.com 26th March 2014

The entire contents of the home of former chairman of the Sefton Group of hotels Graham Ferguson Lacey will be auctioned this Friday.

There's an opportunity to view the lots, which include works of art by Archibald Knox and William Hoggatt as well as antiques and furniture, tomorrow from 10am to 7pm at the saleroom of auctioneers Murray's in Gladstone Park, Ramsey.

The sale starts at 10am on Friday and has been authorised by the Coroner of Rushen following the bankruptcy of the Isle of Man businessman. More than 380 lots from Walton House in Ballasalla will be going under the hammer.
