Miquando web donation boosts Manx Breast Cancer Support Group

by isleofman.com 27th March 2014

Miquando, the Island’s number one directory and online booking system, has charitably launched Manx Breast Cancer Support Group on its website, enabling residents to book tickets online.

The charity is urging people who want to attend its key events, which this year include the Lionel Richie and Showaddywaddy Tribute, Fat Montys , Isle of Woman and Ladies Night, to search for the group on www.miquando.com. The easy to use website then allows visitors to view the events and make a booking.

Although this has only been available on the website for just over a week, Miquando has already reported a great response, with many bookings being taken. Manx Breast Cancer Support Group is delighted with the website’s functionality and the boost it has given to its events.

Nigel Jones, Director for Miquando , said: ‘We are really pleased that we’ve been able to provide this important local cause with such a useful tool. It has already shown how it will help this charity raise more money to enable it to support so many women in our community. We are a local business so it’s important that we give back where we can.’
Spokeswoman for Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, Carole Male, said ‘We are thrilled with the response that we’ve received so far from the Miquando website and we want to encourage more and more people to help our cause by booking and coming along to the many events we organise.’

Throughout the Island, Miquando’s ‘find it, click it, book it, rate it’ system is proving very popular and is helping local businesses to increase their number of customers. The website is simple to use with a rich user experience, making it even quicker and easier to book a table in a restaurant, visit a hairdresser or find a tradesman.
