This weekend `Beach Buddies is supporting the nationwide weekend of beach cleaning by SAS (Surfers Against Sewage) and will meet on Sunday morning at 10.30am at Castletown Bay, at the car park near Hango Hill.

There is a lot of work to be done, and loads of rubbish to clear away, so any help will be much appreciated and make a real difference to the coastline which has been battered by the storms.

Beach Buddies will provide the equipment - litterpickers, bin bags and gloves - and our new trailer will be in action for the first time to take the rubbish away afterwards, recycling where possible.
