Police are hunting burglars who targeted a small business in the south of the Island this week.

The incident happened between 10.30pm on Monday and 2am on Tuesday when thieves broke into a unit on the Balthane Industrial Estate in Ballasalla.

Officers say they took a large amount of cash and ?40 worth of Isle of Man Stamps in booklets.

They’re urging businesses to be vigilant and take steps to make sure their security is as good as it can be to deter thieves.
