Douglas keep hopes alive

by isleofman.com 29th March 2014
Douglas did their outside chance of promotion a big favour in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One with a 34-29 win against Manchester at Port-e-Chee, despite a second half lapse which saw the visitors come uncomfortably close.

Two first half tries from Ryan Maddox and one each from Bryn Snellgrove and Cal Randle gave Douglas the try bonus point early on in the game.

Snellgrove also converted three and added a penalty as Douglas led 29-15 at the break.

A poor second half showing saw Snellgrove pick up his second try of the game as Manchester came back into it to pick up bonus points of their own.
