It's Ramsey v St George's!

by isleofman.com 29th March 2014
Ramsey have shocked Peel to reach Easter Monday’s Paddy Power FA Cup Final.
Two goals in the final 20 minutes caused a surprise at Ballacloan as Chris Duggan fired the northerners in front from the penalty spot before Lewis Qualtrough sealed the victory.
It clinched Ramsey’s first FA Cup final appearance for a decade to stun the westerners.
They will meet Grand-Slam chasing St George’s in the final after they gained revenge for last season’s final defeat by knocking out the holders St Mary’s.
After an early Ciaran McNulty penalty, Andy Glover levelled for the Saints at the Bowl.
But that was as good as it got as the Geordies regained the lead through a fine Johnny Myers goal before Callum Morrissey doubled their advantage after the break.
The tie was settled when McNulty grabbed his second of the game and substitute Sam Caine ensured the gulf was even larger with another goal in injury time.
St Mary’s were reduced to 10 men when Glover was dismissed for headbutting visiting goalkeeper Grant Dawson.
In the Canada Life Premier League, Ramsey Youth Centre look destined for the drop.
Despite only trailing 2-1 at the break, they were beaten 8-2 at home by Rushen, courtesy of goals from Aaron Hawley, Steve Riding (three), Danny Oram (two) and Harry Best (two).
