A Tynwald select committee is due to hear evidence from a family mediator later today.

The three-strong committee of MHKs Kate Beecroft and Phil Gawne and Juan Turner MLC is looking into the care and upbringing of children after a petition for redress of grievance from Philip Walmsley.

In the Legislative Council Chamber at 10.30am, Tina Hall of the Manx Family Mediation Network will give oral evidence.

The proceedings will be streamed live via Tynwald’s website, and members of the public are welcome to attend in person.
