Government changes on the way!

by isleofman.com 31st March 2014
Three departments and two major government bodies are facing their last day in their current incarnations today.

Changes to the structure of government will come into force tomorrow with the start of the new financial year on April 1.

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure will vanish and the Departments of Health and Social Care will merge – as will the Manx Electricity Authority and the Island’s Water and Sewerage Authority.

Chief Minister Allan Bell says the changes will be felt keenly within government, although the public may not notice much difference:Clip 1
