Search continues for missing woman

by isleofman.com 31st March 2014
Police have released more details as the search for a missing woman continues in the sea and around the Island’s coastline.

Catherine Pridham, who is 60 years old, was reported missing yesterday morning.

Police say after an appeal to the public, they found her red Toyota Yaris yesterday afternoon at Niarbyl – and say there’s a possibility she’s entered the sea either there or nearby.

Officers are asking members of the public to look out for her and report any possible sightings to either themselves or the Island’s coastguard.

She is described as being 5'4" tall, with fair but greying short hair, blue eyes and of thin build, wearing her nightclothes, a grey dressing gown and walking boots.

Peel lifeboat and teams from the coastguard are continuing the search this lunchtime.
