Conference debates importance of careers choices

by isleofman.com 31st March 2014
The Island's second Employability Conference takes place at Mount Murray on Wednesday.
It's building on the success of the first event held in October 2012, which explored ways of helping young people into employment, and bridging the gap between school and the workplace.
The initiative is led by the Employability Working Group, which is made up of representatives from the Departments of Education and Children, Economic Development, the business sector and voluntary organisations.
Professor Tony Watts CBE, an international consultant on careers development, is one of the key speakers at the event.
He says career choices are vital for young people:Clip 1
