Premises sought for Tynwald permanent exhibition

by isleofman.com 2nd April 2014

The Tynwald Management Committee is inviting expressions of interest from parties who could provide and operate premises located close to Tynwald Hill in St John’s for a permanent exhibition about Tynwald.

It is anticipated the exhibition would be open throughout the year, although limited hours of operation between November and March would be acceptable.

Ideally there should be space for visitors to watch a short film about Tynwald, supplied by the Clerk of Tynwald’s Office, an information display area and possibly a point of sale for Tynwald souvenirs. (Commission will be paid).

Interested parties are asked to apply in writing, outlining their proposal, with details of the space and facilities available, to Mrs Joann Corkish, Head of the Chamber of Information Service, Clerk of Tynwald’s Office, Legislative Buildings, Finch Road, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 3PW or email j.corkish@tynwald.org.im.

Closing date for submissions 5.00pm Wednesday 16th April 2014.
