Joughin welcomes Manx cycling bid

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2014
Manx former professional cyclist Steve Joughin is delighted the Isle of Man is to bid for the 2016 British National Road Race Championship.
Joughin, nicknamed the Pocket Rocket, won the 1984 title on home soil in front of big crowds.
He says the profile of Isle of Man cycling has never been higher with professional riders such as Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh leading the way, and a whole crop of youngsters waiting to breakthrough.
Joughin, who runs his own Pro Vision Cycle Clothing business in Stoke-on-Trent, is vowing to back the bid as much as possible:- Clip 1
