Cast of Vagina Monologues pop into Hospice

by isleofman.com 4th April 2014
Hospice Isle of Man was delighted that the cast of the Vagina Monologues took time out from the hectic schedule to visit the local charity. Kym Marsh, Lisa Riley and Sue Holderness were welcomed to Hospice by the Chief Executive Margaret Simpson. The ladies enjoyed a tour of the building and were very interested to hear all about the work that Hospice and the children’s wing, Rebecca House did on the Isle of Man.

Pictured are Sue, Kym and Lisa with two of the children that attend Rebecca House. Left to right is Dylan Walton (aged 2 years) and Kailo Moore (aged 19 months).

The ladies spent two hours at the Hospice, talking to patients, relatives, staff and volunteers. Their charm and interest was very much appreciated by everyone that met the lovely ladies.

Margaret Simpson expressed her gratitude to Sue, Lisa and Kym for giving up their time to visit Hospice Isle of Man. She also thanked the producer of the show, Carl Parker. Carl has always been a great supporter of Hospice and facilitated a visit to the local charity.
