Significant changes to exam system can't be avoided

Change to the exam system is "absolutely inevitable"
That's according to the Chief Executive of the Department of Education and Children.
A public consultation on what to do with the GCSE system was launched by the Department last week, following the UK government's decision to overhaul the exam system there, removing element of course work.
The Island is now considering several options - staying with England, switching to the Scottish system, adopting the International GCSE, or looking at another way forward altogether.
But Professor Ronald Barr says come what may, there will be significant change
