Have your say on change to exam system

by isleofman.com 7th April 2014
Islanders are being encouraged to have their say on the way forward for exam systems at Manx schools.
A public consultation on what to do with the GCSE system was launched by the Department of Education and Children last week.
It follows the UK government's decision to overhaul the GCSE exam system, removing elements of coursework.
Several options are being considered including staying with the English system, switching to the Scottish one, or adopting the international GCSE.
The Isle of Man College of Further and Higher Education already uses the Cambridge Board iGCSE for Maths and English.
Principal Geoff Draper says he believes the exam has a number of benefits, and they've had great success with itClip 1
