Chief minister on AG suspension

by isleofman.com 8th April 2014
The Attorney General remains on a precautionary suspension.

Chief Minister Allan Bell says it's so certain matters can be investigated.

It was announced at the start of Tynwald this morning that acting AG John Quinn has been reinstated for another year.

North Douglas MHK John Houghton asked why Attorney General Stephen Harding was still suspended, when a jury has twice been unable to reach a verdict on charges he faced.

Mr Bell said it was not up to him or parliament to make decisions about this matter:Clip 1
