Treasury Minister happy with way review handled

by isleofman.com 9th April 2014
The Treasury Minister is 'content' with the way the National Insurance and Social Policy review was handled.
Eddie Teare was asked a raft of questions on the subject in Tynwald, many focusing on the cost - just over three-quarters-of-a-million pounds.
He told the court the Council of Ministers approved the spending, adding that he as Minister represented the treasury department.
Mr Teare is satisfied everything to do with the review was legal and above board.
It was suggested during question time that the spending should have been highlighted during the budget debate.
But Mr Teare claims there just isn't time to talk about everything.Clip 1
