Urgent appeal for Marshals for Easter Festival of Running

by isleofman.com 10th April 2014
The Festival has attracted huge entry numbers this year. However if you are not competing in all the races, please help by volunteering to marshal at least one of the three races.

Most of the ‘key’ duties are covered, but plenty more marshals are required on the courses to enable the races to go ahead. We especially need lots of marshals for the 10k road race round Port Erin and Port St Mary on Good Friday evening.

Approximate timescales for covering each of the three days’ racing are as follows:

Good Friday 18 April – 10k road race, Port Erin – 18.15 to 20.15
Easter Saturday 19 April – Peel Hill races – 13.30 to 16.00
Easter Sunday 20 April – Douglas Prom 5k races – 09.45 to 12.45

If you can assist with any of the three events (or even better all of them!) please contact David Griffiths as soon as possible at griffmuss@manx.net or on 485855, or through the Festival email easterfestival@manx.net.
