Cav and Yasmin named top sports award winners

Mark Cavendish and Yasmin Ingham have taken the main honours at the Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards ceremony at the Villa Marina.
The Manx Missile has been named Sportsman of the Year once again for becoming only the fifth rider in history to win the Points Jersey at all three grand tours. 2013 also saw him crowned as British Road Race Champion.
Eventer Yasmin Ingham won both the British and European Pony Championships during a real breakthrough year.
Watched by Guest of Honour Rebecca Adlington, Team Sky cyclist Peter Kennaugh was named Ambassador of the Year.
The team prize went to the Isle of Man Island Games team which finished top of the medal table in Bermuda.
Disability Sportsperson was Special Olympian and distance walker Zoe Lambie.
Enduro's Jamie McCanney and cyclist Anna Christian took the under-21 crowns.
Netball guru Pip Cross is Administrator and cycling's Mike Doyle is Coach of the Year.
On a great night for Badminton, Frank and Pat Anderson were rewarded with the Lifetime Achievement gong.
And there was a Special recognition prize for Mountaineer Phil Drowley who conquered the highest peaks on each of the seven continents and became the first Manxman to climb to the top of Everest.
Yasmin Ingham plus brothers Daniel and Jamie McCanney were inducted into the Manx Sports Hall of Fame.
