Combination Two leaders Gymns caused a mighty surprise with a 3-2 home success over Combination One outfit Laxey.
Callum Peter grabbed the winner as the Tromode side enjoyed a fine victory.
Tom Smith netted their other and there was also an own goal as they fought off their more experienced opponents.
Joe Murley and Karl Gartland had replied for the Miners but there was no denying Gymns, whose goalkeeper Steven Downward was in fine form.
Onchan also pulled off a big surprise of their own, seeing off Ramsey 8-3 as the goals flew in at Onchan Stadium.
Fletcher Craine and Stuart Faragher were the heroes with hat-tricks apiece.
Matthew Ogden and Daniel Bentham notched the others on a memorable day for the club.
Ramsey’s replies through John Reynolds, Kaylen Watterson and Jonny Bignall weren’t enough.

They replied in the second half through an Ashley Humphrey penalty.
Robbie Ward and John Quirk netted as Old Boys won 2-0 at Michael, while Neil Withers, Josh Clancy and Paul Timpson grabbed the goals as Marown defeated Braddan 3-0.
Rushen outlined their Junior Cup hopes with a 4-1 win at St George’s, thanks to goals from Ryan Crawley (two), Ross Mulligan and Andrew Moody.
The goals flew in at Garey Mooar as Union Mills ran out 7-3 victors against Foxdale.
Three from Tony Mackay and one each from Kenny Magee, Ed Howland, Steven Halsall and Matty Jack booked their place in the next round.
Jamie Keen, Harry Davies and Chris Van Reen replied for Foxdale.
In the sole game in the Canada Life Premier league, Peel secured a fine 2-0 win at Old Boys, courtesy of goals from Daniel Hawke and Lee Gale.
The home side finished with 10 men after Darren Hudgeon was dismissed.
