Former Island resident walking in memory of mother and friend

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2014
A former Island resident is pulling sledges in parks to help him prepare for one of the Island's most iconic sporting events.
Juan Molyneux, who now lives in Preston, is taking on the Parish Walk in June.
He is walking to raise money for two charities, Hospice Isle of Man and Embrace Child Victims of Crime.
The causes are close to Juan's heart as the Hospice looked after his mum Ann after she was diagnosed with cancer, and Embrace supported the family of his close friend Fiona Bone who was killed in Manchester in September 2012.
Juan says since Preston is much flatter than the Island, his training regime needs to make sure he is ready to take on the hills.
To sponsor Juan go to justgiving.com and search for Juan Molyneux.Clip 1
