Call for rational drugs policy

The drug policies of the British Isles will come under scrutiny from a top scientist at a free talk in Douglas next week.

Professor David Nutt is delivering ‘The truth about drugs: a basis for a fair and rational policy?' at the Manx Museum on Monday evening.

Professor Nutt will also be Roger Watterson's guest on Sunday Opinion on Manx Radio this coming Sunday, just after the midday news.

The former adviser to the UK government has long campaigned for what he says is a more rational approach to managing drugs in society, based on the harm they cause:Clip 1
