Pie in the Sky this weekend

by isleofman.com 25th April 2014
There’s a chance to mix astronomy with gastronomy this weekend with special events at the top of Snaefell.

Isle of Man Transport and the Isle of Man Astronomical Society will be hosting Pie in the Sky, combining supper and stargazing.

The events take place Friday and Saturday, and with a new moon, the sky should be dark enough to make out some spectacular sights.

Howard Parking of the astronomical society says there’s plenty to watch out for in our night skies at the moment:Clip 1
