Winning start in Turkey for Cavendish

Mark Cavendish has got his Tour of Turkey campaign off to the best-possible start with victory on the opening stage.
The Manxman secured a comfortable sprint win on the seafront in Alanya in his debut appearance at the event.
Returning from a period of absence due to illness, the Omega Pharma-Quick-Step rider held off Elia Viviani and Theo Bos to move into an early race lead – one he never relinquished.
