Spooks film shoot for Island's greater good

by isleofman.com 28th April 2014
A 15-day film shoot for a major new spy movie based on the TV drama series Spooks comes to an end this week.
On-location filming around Douglas for the Pinewood-backed movie 'Spooks: The Greater Good' brought an 80-strong crew to the Island, along with leading actors Peter Firth and Kit Harington.
Up to 180 local people have been involved as extras, with producers also employing local film facilities and expertise.
The Gaiety Theatre was at the centre of the action on Saturday, when its sumptuous interiors were the backdrop for an MI5 cocktail party!
Executive producer Steve Christian says the production team has been very positive about its experience here.
He's confident Spooks will boost the Island's standing in the industry:Clip 1
