by isleofman.com 30th April 2014
Mount Murray have made the strongest possible start to Golf's Scratch League.
They beat Port St. Mary 7-0 in their opening fixture, despite many close games.
Mount Murray were the only home winners on Monday evening as away sides took a 4.5 to 2.5 victory in the other fixtures - Castletown at Peel, Ramsey at King Edward Bay and Douglas at Rowany.
For Rowany, Tom Gandy took a win at the 17th over fellow Island player Kevin Moore thanks to a run of five consecutive threes.
