Manx Telecom has appointed Didier Lucotte as Product Manager for Hosting and Managed Services. HIs responsibilities
include managing solution strategy, that encompasses the existing business portfolio, new product development and external partner/supplier relationships, including channel development to maximize opportunities in the Isle of Man, UK and other key markets. David Smith, Marketing Director at Manx Telecom, welcomed Didier’s appointment and commented:
“With the convergence of communication and IT services, business customers of all sizes require solutions that include voice and data, connectivity and hosting, mobile and desktop, business applications and business continuity. All this while reducing complexity for the end user and providing real value for the organisation, as they make the transition in how they purchase and use ICT. Didier brings a wealth of product management experience across technologies and business types, and is passionate about providing managed solutions that leverage Manx Telecom’s technical expertise and customer focus. We welcome Didier at a very busy time in Manx Telecom history, with the recent completion of our second Tier 3 data centre, 4G roll-out and expansion of our fibre broadband network. I know Didier will help to ensure all new technologies are packaged and presented to our customers in ways that offer real business advantage.”
Didier, who is relocating to the Island from Paris, studied computer science engineering at INSA in Lyon which is widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading universities in science and technology. He also studied marketing telecommunications at INSEAD in Fontainebleau; coaching training at the Institut Des Neurosciences Appliquees in Paris; and became an instructor and facilitator in holacracy following studies in Philadelphia. He is bilingual in French and English and joins Manx Telecom from Hygena in Lille where he was WAN Project Manager. His CV also includes managerial roles with VOPIUM, Reliance Globalcom, Cable & Wireless, and AT&T.
Away from work Didier is a volunteer for the Agile Tour Paris which is a gathering of professionals interested in helping the business community to discover the evolution of Agile practises, and how to improve the way products and services are developed and managed.
