The star of a new film partly shot on the Isle of Man has criticised the experience of working here.
Miranda Richardson stars in Belle, out in cinemas in the US later this week and coming to the UK in June.
But in an interview with a film website she revealed she’d vowed never to work on the Island again after making Churchill: the Hollywood Years here a decade ago.
She said: “My experience there? Not great. Would I ever want to make my life there? No! They haven’t even a soundproof studio.”
