Champions St. George's presented with trophy

by isleofman.com 1st May 2014
Canada Life Premier League Champions St. George's were presented with the trophy after Wednesday night's 5-1 victory at Peel.
It was their 20th win of the campaign - they still have three games to play and could win the league by a 17 point margin.
Geordies play Peel again on Sunday in the Hospital Cup quarter-finals.
St. Mary's finished their programme with a 2-0 win at Michael and will be runners-up.
Old Boys continued their recent run of good form with a comprehensive 8-1 triumph at Ramsey.
And Union Mills are guaranteed an 8th place finish after a 4-2 home success over Ramsey Youth Centre.
Another night of drama in the promotion race in JCK Division Two.
Unless there is a mathematical miracle, Gymns will be promoted and crowned Champions after a 4-0 win at Foxdale.
Douglas Royal are out of the promotion picture after crashing to a 5-4 defeat away to Pulrose.
And Marown suffered a really serious blow to their chances with a 2-1 loss at Ayre.
It looks as if either Colby or Ayre will join Gymns in the Premier League next season.
Colby will take the second berth if they win away to Marown in their final match - any other result and the door will be open for Ayre who play Onchan in their last fixture.
Onchan won 3-1 away at Malew in a mid-table tussle.
