Police have named a woman who was killed on the Tholt y Will Road on Saturday evening.
Officers say she was mum of three Gwen Valentine, aged 62, from Winchester in the UK.
Miss Valentine was visiting family on the Island and was with her fiance and son when she died.
In a statement, her family say she was preparing to get married in June, after retiring just over a week ago.
They add she was in the prime of her life, and was loved for her humour, fearlessness and compassion.
