Outreach to capture wide range of views on crucial issues

Government ministers are promising to engage with Island residents like never before, over the squeeze on public spending.
Difficult choices lie ahead as areas from health, social care and education to regeneration, policing and the environment compete for limited public funds.
It's understood ministers are considering an outreach programme to explain to voters what changes and cutbacks are needed.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw says it will be on a much bigger scale than last year's Council of Ministers' roadshow and will go beyond the scope of a traditional consultation.
He says politicians want to connect with those residents who don't speak-up, the so-called silent majority.
