Death by dangerous driving accused remanded until next month

A 30-year-old man charged with causing death by dangerous driving has been remanded in custody until June.
Donovan Kitching, of St John's, has been charged with five offences including causing the death by dangerous driving of Gwen Valentine.
The 62-year-old from Winchester was visiting family when she was struck on the Tholt-y-Will Road on April 26.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes set a committal date for June 24.
Mr Kitching, who appeared via video link-up, is also facing charges including possession of drugs, driving whilst disqualified and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.
No application for bail was made by Mr Kitching.
He will next appear via video link on June 3.
A second man who was also arrested after the crash has been bailed, police said.
