There was a major problem with the phone system on the Island earlier this morning.
Landlines went down across much of the Island just before 9.30am and it seemed there were problems with mobile calls as well.
Manx Telecom Engineers spent around an hour working on the problem before the company posted on its Facebook page that the issue had been fixed.
MT is apologising for any inconvenience caused.
