Minke whale spotted

by isleofman.com 9th May 2014
There was a chance to spot a marine visitor to the Isle of Man unusually early this afternoon.

The Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch says people on Peel Breakwater spotted a Minke whale a couple of hundred yards off the coast.

The whales follow their food - herring - through Manx waters.

Tom Felce says it’s unusual to see them this time of year:Clip 1
