Casting call for new film

Be a part of the islands amazing film industry by getting involved in an exciting short film project shooting this summer.

Muck’ is a short film written by writer and cinematographer John Craine and directed by writer/Director Sonya Quayle both are experienced filmmakers and award winners.

It has recently been selected as one of the three films that will be made in 2014 with the assistance of the Arts Council under the Mannin Shorts scheme.

Mannin Shorts, is the brainchild of Dave Armstrong and Christy De haven of island based Dam Productions and Phil Gates of Sonic Productions. It provides a platform for interested filmmakers to develop the necessary skills and ideas to make their own films.

If you have ever wanted to be in a film now is your chance, or perhaps you are a seasoned professional actor either way why not come and attend our casting call.
 
Casting Call

When: Wednesday 21st May
Time: 6.30pm
Venue: Fusion Bar, Callows Yard, Castletown
 
If you think you are a good fit to any of the characters listed we’d love to see you.
 
The characters:

A man who looks age 40-60 to play a farmer.
 
A woman who looks age 35-55 to play his wife.
 
A man who looks age 16-25 (but should be over 18) to play their autistic son.
 
The shoot will be over 6 full days in early/mid July 2014 so you would need to be available then.
