New DVD puts Island's wildlife in the spotlight

by isleofman.com 15th May 2014
It's been five years in the making and has required thousands of hours of work, planning, fundraising, filming, writing and editing, but a new DVD highlighting the Island's incredible wildlife is about to hit the shelves.
"Isle of Man - a Natural World" is the work of Chris Sharp, formerly head of Manx Birdlife with help from cameraman James Leonard and local company Greenlight TV.
The DVD features some amazing footage of the Island and it's wonderful flora and fauna and it's hoped it will inspire more people to go out and enjoy the wildlife on our doorstep
Chris says it's been a wonderful project to have worked on - but filming wasn't always plain sailing, particularly when it came to getting footage of bottle-nosed dolphins
The 80 minute DVD will be available online at dukevideo.com with a link from the Manx Birdlife website and it may also be shown on Spanish TV
