Peel RNLI lifeboat has recently lost one of its strongest volunteers and supporters. Chris Wilkinson died on Monday morning after being unwell for several weeks.
Chris only recently retired as Deputy Launch Authority a post he held for thirteen years, during which time he was also station admin officer for seven years.
Allen Corlett, Lifeboat Operations Manager said “ it has been a privilege for myself and the Peel Station branch to have had someone with such commitment, drive, inability to shirk responsibility, and a willingness to spend long hours in the boathouse awaiting the return of “Ruby Clery” he truly has been a rock”
All at Peel station send their heart felt sympathy to Chris’s wife Hilary and the rest of the family.
