Work to resurface a section of the TT course will continue on Friday.
Hillberry Corner was closed today but reopened at 4.30pm – tomorrow the road will be closed from 9.30am as work continues.
The Department of Infrastructure says it will reopen no later than 4.30pm, although if the work still hasn’t been finished it may close again tomorrow evening.
Some work had already been done to improve the surface at Hillberry but TT organisers ACU Events has asked for a section to be relaid after slight dip was discovered on the apex of the bend.
