Beach Buddies at Ballaugh Cronk this Sunday

by isleofman.com 16th May 2014

BEACH BUDDIES will be going back to Ballaugh Cronk again for its beach cleaning session this weekend.

The session starts at 10.30am on Sunday from the car park and, as always, we will provide all equipment necessary, although lots of people do like to bring their own gloves.

New volunteers always welcome, and we have had a message from someone on the Island on holiday who will be joining us, so this will be an "international" session this time!

Next week sees the start of our series of session all over the Island to have a "TT Spring Clean" to make the Island look at its best for our many thousands of visitors.

Braddan Commissioners are once again throwing their enthusiasm into the event, and will host an event in conjunction with Beach Buddies on Monday evening (May 19th), meeting at Braddan School car park at 6.00pm.

We will then have a series of evening events to include numerous areas on the Island, meeting for an informal and fun one-hour "TT Spring Clean" event at various venues. Volunteers of all ages very welcome to join in - and make a difference!

The full calendar of events will be announced in the next 48 hours.
