The 2014 Diana Trust Summer Walk is to take place on Thursday 12 June. The two hour leisurely walk sets off from the Eary Cushlin turnoff between 5.30 – 6pm, goes down to the Keill before retracing its route and heading to Niarbyl Cafe for the finish, with the added option of an evening meal too.
Walkers are encouraged to walk with friends and where possible, arrange one car at the start, and another at Niarbyl. Whilst dogs are also welcome they will have to be on leads for most, if not all the walk but are not allowed inside Niarbyl Cafe.
Walkers can pay on the night: ?12.50 per head including meal, or ?5 per head excluding meal, but are asked to book in advance via email to Johnnyk@manx.net, along with meal orders - Fish and chips, or Steak & Ale pie, and coffees.
Chairman of the Trust Ron Spencer said: “This is an ideal opportunity to enjoy a spectacular walk on one of the most beautiful coastal paths. The hills, the heather, the wild beach and the sunset - the Isle of Man at its very best. Spaces are limited so please book early!”
