by isleofman.com 20th May 2014

Police have officially confirmed that a 17 year old student at King William's College died as a result of a road traffic accident on Sunday.

An Audi car being driven by Dosch MacLeod was in collision with a Hyundai car travelling in the opposite direction near the 11th milestone. The two occupants of the Hyundai sustained injuries and were taken to Noble's Hospital. Dosch was flown to a UK hospital but later died.

Detective Inspector Dave Dobbie, who is now leading the enquiry, said: 'The investigation into this collision is continuing, and I thank the public for their help. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this sad time. At this time the occupants of the Hyundai car remain in hospital being treated for their injuries.'
