Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino backs 'Hutchy' for TT2014

by isleofman.com 21st May 2014

TT star Ian Hutchinson has the support of the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino as he prepares to conquer the Mountain Couse again, four years after completing his legendary clean sweep of five TT wins inside a week.

Ian made history in 2010 when he became the first man to win all five solo races. However, a horrific high speed crash at Silverstone a few months later meant Ian had to miss TT2011, but he battled back to fitness with the help of the equipment and staff at the Palace Health Club.

Ian competed in TT2012 meeting, racking up several top 10 finishes, before missing out on last year’s festival because of injury.

This year he’s back and raring to go, and the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino is delighted to be sponsoring his bid.

Adrian Brockhouse, Group Operations Director, said: ‘Ian’s exploits in 2010 mean he will forever have a place in TT folklore and it’s great to have him back competing again this year. We’re thrilled to team up with him again and wish him all the very best for this year’s festival.’

Ian will be supported wholeheartedly by the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino and will display the logo of the Tahiko Nightclub on the arm of his leathers and across front of his helmet.

Ian said: ‘It's fantastic to be accommodated at the Palace Hotel for the 5th year for the TT Races; it feels like home to me now and like my second family. The great rooms, great food and facilities make my racing run so smoothly, thanks again for your support.’
