by isleofman.com 22nd May 2014

Heritage Homes, part of the Dandara Group, has committed to supporting Peel Association Football Club for the 14th year running with a further donation of ?3,500.

The contribution from the local property developer will be used to fund general improvements to the club’s Douglas Road pitch and facilities.

Peel A.F.C. Secretary Colin Moore said “The club is extremely grateful for the ongoing sponsorship arrangement and appreciates all that Heritage Homes Limited has done for both the club and the town of Peel over the years.”
Founded in October 1888, Peel A.F.C. is one of the oldest sides on the Isle of Man, with teams playing in all divisions of Manx football.

Heritage Homes planning director Joe McLoughlin who recently presented the cheque at the club’s home ground said “We’re delighted to be able to support Peel A.F.C. for another season and that this donation will help the club maintain and enhance its facilities.

“We have been economically active in Peel for the last 15 years and feel that it is important to put something back in to the community. The club has such a rich history and, as a Peel resident myself, I am thrilled that we can back a local organisation which contributes so much to the town.”
