Equiom Group is celebrating another triumph after Group Managing Director, Sheila Dean, was voted ‘Top Female Entrepreneur’ at the MSV Life Top Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2014.
The leading trust and corporate services provider, headquartered in the Isle of Man and with offices in Jersey, opened its doors in Swatar, Malta in March 2013. Now an established brand, Equiom (Malta) provides trust and corporate services to a wide range of clients.
Held on 16th May and organised annually by leading Malta business magazine, Economic Update, the awards celebrated the entrepreneurial achievements of individuals and companies both in Malta and internationally. The Gala Dinner was held at the 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel with the theme of ‘Creating a Culture of Excellence’, and was attended by some of the most successful people from the Malta business community.
Winners were carefully selected for each of the 17 award categories by an impressive judging panel, consisting of seven of Malta’s most influential business men and women. Sheila’s award was one of the most prestigious of the evening, along with ‘Top Male Entrepreneur’ and ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.
Sheila commented: “It is an absolute honour to accept this award in the presence of such influential people. I have always been passionate and determined in what I do and I’m grateful to have such an experienced and dedicated team behind me to support me in achieving Equiom’s goals of growth and expansion”.
