Civic amenity site lowers charges

by isleofman.com 24th May 2014
The Eastern Civic Amenity site says it’s lowering many of its prices for dumping appliances to bring it in line with the Island’s other sites.

From June 2, dropping standard fridges will cost ?12 while large fridges will cost ?15 and PC monitors ?6.50.

There’ll be no change, however, for wider fridges at ?25 or TVs which cost ?8.

Additionally the 2.2m height restriction barrier is to be removed on Wednesdays from 2 to 6.45pm during the summer operating season, April 1st to September 30th.

Chairman of the Eastern district civic amenity site joint committee Councillor Bill Malarkey says the moves come after the site forged closer links with the other sites around the Island.
