Island shares biodiversity practice

by isleofman.com 25th May 2014
The Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister has offered to share the Island’s expertise when it comes to promoting marine biodiversity.

Phil Gawne addressed a sub-group of the UK All Party Parliamentary Group on Biodiversity earlier this month.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr Gawne explained how the Isle of Man protects species and habitats around our coasts.

He says it’s an especially important subject as a debate rages on whether queenie fisheries should be closed this season to protect stocks:Clip 1
