Villiers Lane incident - appeal for witnesses

A leather wallet and a mobile phone were among the items stolen during an incident in Douglas in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It happened at around two thirty in Villiers Lane between Strand Street and the promenade, close to the Post Office on Regent Street.

Two men and a woman with fair hair were in the area at the time.

A brown French Connection leather wallet and a black LG Optimus mobile phone were taken.

Police would like to speak to anyone with information, particularly two men who are believed to have walked past the end of the lane whilst the incident took place.
