Police investigating incident in Villiers Lane

Police are investigating an incident which took place in Villiers Lane situated between Strand Street and Douglas Promenade, close to the Post Office on Regent Street. This incident occurred at approximately 02:30am on Saturday 24th May involving 2 males, 1 of whom received injuries. A female with fair hair was also in the area at the time.

If you have any information which may help the Police with their enquires please contact the CID department on (01624) 631307 or via the switchboard on (01624) 631212.

In particular Police would like to speak with two males who are believed to have walked past the end of the lane whilst the incident took place.

Also during the course of the incident a number of items were stolen which the police are seeking to recover. They include a brown French Connection leather wallet and a black coloured LG Optimus mobile phone.
