by isleofman.com 28th May 2014

Conditions were excellent for the second qualifying evening of the TT with the star riders all performing well.

But sidecar outfits were able to complete just one lap before the session was red flagged. An incident at Kerrowcoar involved sidecar team Nev Jones and Milan Vorel. Jones was reported to be uninjured but Vorel was airlifted to Noble's hospital with suspected leg fractures.

Meanwhile, Dave Molyneux pulled to a halt at his own corner at the end of the Cronk y Voddy.

Earlier, Bruce Anstey set the pace with an impressive 130.860mph lap. John McGuinness was second fastest of the night with Guy Martin third quickest with a lap of 129.164mph. The top six was completed by Michael Dunlop (129.032), Michael Rutter (128.728) and Manx rider Conor Cummins (128.719).
