Landlords bill deadline

by isleofman.com 29th May 2014

A consultation period on proposed legislation to protect tenants' rights is coming to an end.

There's still time for landlords, tenants and anybody or organisation with an interest in the Landlord and Tenant (Private Housing) Bill to submit written evidence of their views. These must be received by the secretary of the House of Keys by tomorrow.

The bill's course through the House of Keys was halted so that its implications could be examined by a select committee. The next stage will be the taking of oral evidence.
